CALL FOR PROPOSALS: DATA ANALYSIS TRAINING FOR CSBAG STAFF
- Introduction
The Civil Society Budget Advocacy Group (CSBAG) is seeking a qualified and experienced training provider to deliver comprehensive data analysis training for our staff. The training aims to enhance our team’s capacity to analyze and interpret data effectively, enabling us to make informed decisions and drive impactful advocacy initiatives
2. Training Objectives:
Equip CSBAG staff with advanced data analysis skills.
Enhance the ability to interpret and present data effectively.
Foster a data-driven culture within the organization.
Improve the quality and impact of our advocacy and programmatic work.
3. Scope of Work:
| Training Content | The training should cover key aspects of data analysis, including data collection, cleaning, visualization, statistical analysis, and the use of relevant software (e.g., Excel, SPSS, R, Python and Power Bi). |
| Duration | The training program should be designed to be completed within a 2-week period or a one off |
| Mode of Delivery: | The training can be conducted either in-person or virtually, depending on the provider’s capabilities and CSBAG’s needs. |
| Participants | Approximately 25 staff members from various departments within CSBAG. |
| Location | Kampala or Entebbe, Uganda |
4. Requirements:
- Proven track record in providing data analysis training to similar organizations.
- Expertise in a wide range of data analysis tools and techniques.
- Ability to customize the training content to meet the specific needs of CSBAG.
- Strong communication and facilitation skills.
- Availability to deliver the training within the specified timeframe
5. Application Process:
Interested providers should submit the following:
- A detailed proposal outlining the training plan, methodology, and timeline.
- Profiles of trainers, including their qualifications and relevant experience.
- Examples of previous training sessions conducted, including client references.
- Cost Estimate: Detailed budget breakdown, including training fees, materials, and any additional costs.
- References: Contact information for at least two previous clients who can attest to the quality of the training provided.
